Last year I went and stayed with my boyfriend in the lovely (but very small) Cornish village of Polruan.
Polruan
is extremely close to my heart. It's where I had my summer holiday
every year as a child as did my mother. And her mother too. I haven't
been here for about 6 years but as soon as we drove over the cliffs and
saw the sea everything came back to me. Nostalgia at its finest.
Calm before the storm

This
is Ally cat. He greeted us with a cautious pawing at the window. He
left us with two large poos and a lot of cleaning up to do. I feel
foolish for leaving him a bowl of milk.
King of the castle
The
ferry takes you over to Fowey for a rather extortionate return price of
£3.20. The last ferry back is at 6.55pm and if you miss that you have a
3 hour walk back. Or as recommend to us by some locals, just steal a boat.
We
even managed to squeeze in some time to visit the Eden Project. Haven't
been there for years and B had never visited. It's an amazing place. If
you haven't been, go.
My lovely boyfriend loves to fish. Not really my thing although I would go again just for the scenery...

are about experiences and people, and tuning in to what you feel like
doing at that moment. Enjoy not having to look at a watch." Evelyn Glennie
